Session 1 of 6

The frame and the CEO

Wednesday, October 14 · Noon to 1 p.m. CT · On Zoom

Your Zoom link is in your calendar invitation.

“Is this week moving me toward the life I designed?”

Session 1 is our first-day-of-class session. You’ll see the whole dashboard before we build any of it, meet the room, and leave with a rough draft of your own, built by your SAGE CEO from your real week.

Each Wednesday after this, we go one seat deeper.

Before Wednesday

Eight steps. About 45 minutes.

Allow an hour if you haven’t added your SAGE Suite files yet. Open each step for the details. Finishing early means Wednesday’s hour is for building, not setup.

Finish by Tue · Oct 13
1Confirm your paid plan2 min

Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus, about $20 a month. Already pay for one? Use that one.

2Open your SAGE Suite project10–20 min

Your suite has one home: the project that holds your Founder Foundation, your Foundation updates, and your seat files. If you set up “My SAGE Suite” from The AI Prompt Index, use it.

Not set up yet? No new project needed. Add your starter files to your Business Design Workshop project, following Set up your SAGE Suite in the Index. Paste file 00 (the project instructions) into the project’s instructions, under any instructions already there, and add 01 SAGE CEO as its own file. Turn on memory, plus chat search in Claude or chat history in ChatGPT.

Check it: open a chat in the project and ask, “CEO: list the files you can read.”
3Connect your calendar5 min

Your CEO reads one app this week: your calendar.

  • Claude: on the web or desktop app, open Settings, then Connectors. Connect Google Calendar, or Microsoft 365 if your calendar is on a work or school Microsoft account.
  • ChatGPT: open Apps in the sidebar (some accounts show Plugins). Connect Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar.
Won’t connect? Note what you saw and bring it Wednesday. Your dashboard still works with what you tell it.
4Mark your leading time5 min

Leading time is selling, strategy, decisions, and relationships. Pick one way to mark it on your calendar: a color, a category, or a title that starts with “L:”. Mark this week’s events. This is how your CEO sees leading time against doing time.

5Start your SAGE Record5 min

Create a document named My SAGE Record in your Google Drive or OneDrive. Copy in the My SAGE Record template and fill in your 90-day goal. This is where your weekly briefs live, in a place you own.

6Take your Growth Readiness Scorecard10 min

Ten minutes, 25 questions. This is your starting Founder-Dependency Index. You’ll retake it in Session 6 and see what moved.

7Send me your Session 1 sources5 min

Fill in page 2 of the Session 1 Prep Sheet and email it, or just the answers, to nikki.york@sageraconsulting.com by Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT. It tells me who’s on which tool and account before we build.

8Bring one sentence2 min

What are you most excited to learn or build in this cohort? You’ll share it when we open.

On Wednesday

How the hour runs

01

Welcome and the room

How we’ll work together, and the sentence you brought.

02

The full picture

A walkthrough of a working CEO dashboard, all seven panels, so you can see where we’re going.

03

Your first draft

You run your Monday check-in, the same prompt from the Index, with one new line, and your CEO builds a rough draft of your dashboard. Panels 2 to 5 will say “Not connected yet.” That’s expected. One seat connects each week.

04

The CEO habit

Monday: three questions, one outcome, no more than three priorities. Friday: check what got done, so next Monday starts from it.

You leave with

  • A first draft of your CEO dashboard

  • This week’s plan

  • Your first weekly brief in your SAGE Record

How we work together

Four agreements

  • Share the layout, not the numbers. When you share your screen, show the shape of your dashboard. Your figures stay yours, and leave out client and employee details a seat doesn’t need.

  • AI drafts. You decide. Your seats read your apps. They never send, publish, pay, delete, or change anything in them.

  • Questions between sessions: email nikki.york@sageraconsulting.com by Tuesday at noon, and I’ll answer them in Wednesday’s session.

  • In between Wednesdays, play with your dashboard. Tweak it, break it, ask your CEO why. Bring what you find.

Systems are self-care.
