About SAGERA
We work with people who have built something real — and are ready to build something transferable.
What we do and why it matters
Most founder-led RIAs are built around one person’s judgment. Their client relationships. Their memory of how the firm operates and why decisions get made the way they do.
That’s not a flaw. It’s how many advisory firms grow in their early years.
But eventually, growth creates complexity. Communication becomes inconsistent. Decisions bottleneck at the founder level. The team depends on proximity instead of process. And client experience starts relying too heavily on one person’s availability, memory, or oversight.
At a certain point, the very thing that helped the firm grow becomes the thing limiting its scalability, sustainability, and long-term value.
SAGERA exists to close that gap.
We work with founder-led RIAs to turn operational knowledge into documented, transferable systems — creating clarity across workflows, team responsibilities, communication, and technology adoption. The goal is not to replace the founder’s leadership. It’s to build an operating foundation strong enough that the business no longer depends on the founder being involved in every decision, every handoff, or every client interaction.
Because operational clarity doesn’t just support growth. It protects client experience, strengthens retention, reduces key-person risk, and creates a firm that can scale sustainably over time.
This is not traditional consulting. We don’t hand over a slide deck and disappear. We stay involved through implementation, adoption, and refinement — until the systems are not just designed, but working in real life.
What makes SAGERA different
Most operational consultants help firms run better today. SAGERA is built for what comes next.
Founder-led RIAs often reach a point where growth, client experience, and team performance start depending too heavily on the founder’s involvement. Decisions bottleneck. Processes live in memory. Client relationships rely on individual proximity instead of operational consistency.
We help close that gap.
Every workflow we document, every role we clarify, and every system we build is designed with long-term sustainability in mind — not just immediate efficiency. Because in a growing advisory firm, operations need to do more than function. They need to be understandable, repeatable, and durable enough to support growth without increasing founder dependency.
That future-state perspective changes how we work.
It’s not enough for a process to make sense to the person who created it. It has to make sense to the team executing it. It has to support a consistent client experience. And it has to continue working as the firm grows, hires, transitions leadership, or evolves over time.
We build operational foundations that support both the business you run today and the business you’re trying to build next.
And unlike traditional consulting firms, we don’t hand over recommendations and disappear. We stay involved through implementation and adoption — until the systems are working in real conditions, not just on paper.
Our work shows up in three areas:
-
When growth has outpaced structure and too much of the business still depends on the founder’s memory, oversight, or involvement. We help RIAs create documented workflows, clearer accountability, and operating systems the team can actually run from.
-
When operational inconsistency starts affecting responsiveness, communication, onboarding, or the overall client experience. We help firms strengthen the systems behind the relationship — because retention depends on more than trust alone.
-
When firms have invested in tools, platforms, or AI solutions that haven’t translated into meaningful efficiency. We redesign workflows around how the business actually operates, so technology supports the team instead of adding more friction.
At its core, every engagement is about the same thing: helping founder-led firms scale with more clarity, consistency, and sustainability — without increasing dependence on the founder.
“If you’ve built something real and want to make sure it lasts — I’d like to be part of that.”
A Note from Nikki
I didn’t arrive at this work from the outside looking in. I spent more than two decades inside growing organizations — leading operational change, improving workflows, supporting teams through complexity, and seeing firsthand what happens when growth outpaces structure.
Over time, I noticed the same pattern across founder-led businesses and advisory firms: smart, capable people carrying too much for too long. Founders becoming the decision bottleneck. Teams depending on proximity instead of process. Client experience becoming inconsistent not because people didn’t care — but because the systems underneath the business weren’t built to support sustainable growth.
The problem was rarely the people. It was the operational clarity around them.
That’s what SAGERA is built to solve.
I work with founder-led RIAs to create the structure that allows the business to scale more sustainably — clearer workflows, stronger operational rhythms, better technology adoption, and systems the team can actually run from consistently.
Not theoretical frameworks. Not generic consulting decks. Practical systems that reduce friction, support client retention, and help the business operate with less dependence on any one person holding everything together.
I guide clients the same way I’ve learned to navigate complexity myself: calmly, directly, and collaboratively. I look for the patterns underneath the noise, identify where operational friction is creating unnecessary strain, and stay involved long enough to make sure what we build actually works in real life.
